Rivian spinoff Also will begin delivering its TM-B e-bike ($4,500) to Launch Edition customers as early as next week, after supply chain issues pushed the original spring 2026 ship date back to summer. All Launch Edition units are expected to be delivered by September 2026.
Also, a company spun out of Rivian in March 2025 with $105 million in funding from Eclipse, announced it will begin shipping its TM-B e-bike to Launch Edition customers starting next week, with all units expected to arrive by September. The TM-B retails for $4,500 and was first revealed in October 2025. Also originally targeted a spring 2026 delivery window, but supply chain pressures — described in June as 'a rapid, industry-wide spike in demand for raw materials and electronic components' — pushed the timeline back. The company declined to specify which components caused the delay. Also began as an internal skunkworks project at Rivian in 2022, initiated by CEO RJ Scaringe. Design firm LoveFrom, led by Jony Ive, contributed to an early design phase. Beyond the TM-B, Also has plans to build four-wheel pedal-assist cargo vehicles for Amazon and an autonomous delivery vehicle for DoorDash. Meanwhile, customer frustration has been building on the r/ALSOmicromobility subreddit, with users citing poor communication around shipping timelines. Some customers have already canceled their reservations.
