Google DeepMind ने 28 अक्टूबर 2026 को Gemini 4 Carbon पेश किया। यह उनका सबसे शक्तिशाली frontier model है, जो Artificial Analysis Intelligence Index v5.0 में 59 अंक के साथ पहले स्थान पर है।
Google DeepMind के SVP और Chief AI Architect Koray Kavukcuoglu ने Gemini 4 Carbon की घोषणा की। यह model cybersecurity और long horizon reasoning — दोनों क्षमताओं में state-of-the-art बताया गया है। Artificial Analysis Intelligence Index के नए v5.0 संस्करण में Carbon ने 59 अंकों के साथ पहला स्थान हासिल किया है, जो पिछले models की तुलना में उल्लेखनीय सुधार दर्शाता है। Google ने इसे अपना 'अगला frontier model' कहा है। Kavukcuoglu के अनुसार, Carbon में cybersecurity और लंबी अवधि के कार्यों को स्वायत्त रूप से पूरा करने की विशेष क्षमता है। फिलहाल उपलब्ध जानकारी सीमित है और pricing, API access तथा deployment की जानकारी अभी सामने नहीं आई है।
