Natura's Interface smart ring launches at $99
Original: Natura’s $99 smart ring puts AI agents on your finger
Why This Matters
Wearable AI interfaces signal a shift in how users interact with AI beyond screens.
Startup Natura announced Interface, a $99 smart ring that connects to AI agents like Claude, ChatGPT, and Grok Bot via a button press. It also tracks health metrics. Preorders open next month; shipping starts December or January.
Natura, an AI and hardware startup founded by Carlo Edoardo Ferraris — previously of tech accessories company Rolling Square — has unveiled Interface, a $99 smart ring built around AI agent interaction. A single button press lets users delegate tasks to connected AI agents including Meta's Muse, Instinct, Grok Bot, Claude, and ChatGPT, without touching a phone. Responses arrive through connected headphones, an iPhone Live Activity, or the NatureOS app.
Beyond agent control, Interface tracks heart rate, HRV, sleep, and activity, doubling as a health wearable. Ferraris told TechCrunch the ring's always-on form factor — waterproof and wearable during sleep — was a deliberate choice: 'You don't want to have even one hour of your day where you cannot access them.'
Use cases Natura pitches include reordering household items mid-shower, checking a calendar on waking, logging workouts during runs, or sending meeting notes to colleagues afterward. Users can also route specific tasks to specific agents — Claude for code, Instinct for restaurant bookings.
Interface is Natura's second product after HumanPods, AI-enabled earbuds. The company decided a ring offered better 24/7 accessibility. Ferraris ultimately sees the device replacing much of what people currently do on computers. Preorders open in November, with shipments expected in December or January.
