Munder Difflin: Multi-Agent Harness to Run AI Clones of Your Team
Original: Munder Difflin – Agent harness to run an office of your clones
Why This Matters
Signals growing demand for persistent, persona-specific multi-agent frameworks beyond single-session AI assistants.
Munder Difflin is a free, open-source multi-agent harness that creates AI 'clones' of individual team members, running 24/7 on local machines. It supports 12 CLI agent providers including Claude Code, Codex, and Grok, and reached GitHub Trending #1 Repository of the Day.
Munder Difflin is a free, open-source agent harness designed to create persistent AI clones of individual team members that operate autonomously around the clock. The tool runs on users' local machines, wrapping existing CLI agent subscriptions — supporting 12 providers out of the box, including Claude Code, Codex, Grok, Kimi Code, Gemini CLI, Copilot, and Cursor, with more planned. Each clone captures an individual's workflow, tooling, and institutional knowledge via a 'MemPalace' memory system, allowing new instances to start pre-loaded with context. Clones can communicate with each other via end-to-end encrypted messaging, enabling autonomous handoffs — for example, one clone requesting design tokens from a teammate's clone at 3 AM without human intervention. The tool includes an office-themed simulation monitor and a fullscreen mode; the simulation runs deterministically without consuming tokens. A Teams plan adds Private Cloud (isolated sandboxes per teammate running 24/7) and a Private Network (encrypted clone-to-clone communication across the org). The project reached the #1 spot on GitHub Trending as Repository of the Day at launch.
