Meta adds Spaces to Muse AI agents

Original: Meta introduces Spaces, a new way to collaborate with your Muse agent

Why This Matters

10M Muse users in under 2 months signals fast consumer AI agent adoption.

Meta launched Spaces on Nov. 6, 2026, a sidebar feature inside its Muse agent interface that lets users create topic-focused project boards—vacation planners, gift trackers, recipe collections—with third-party app integration.

Meta has rolled out Spaces, a new layer on top of its Muse AI agents that organizes conversations into dedicated, goal-specific workspaces. Living in the sidebar of the Muse interface, each Space functions like a persistent project tab: describe what you need, and Muse assembles a tracker, planner, or board around it. Meta's examples include holiday gift trackers, wedding planners, and DIY project hubs.

Third-party app integration is built in. Meta says connected apps keep Spaces current automatically—concert date updates, price changes, savings progress—without users having to prompt the agent.

CEO Mark Zuckerberg posted on X that he had built a BBQ game, an event tracker, and a home control dashboard using the feature. Spaces is the second Muse update in a week; Meta also released Muse Voice on Thursday, enabling video chat and verbal commands to the agent.

Muse agents, launched less than two months ago, already count 10 million users in the U.S. and Canada, Zuckerberg said during Meta's October earnings call. The company competes with OpenAI's dots and xAI's Grokbot in the emerging market for consumer-facing AI agents with distinct, animated personas.
