Automattic's personal CRM 'Mesh' launches on Android
Original: Mesh, Automattic’s CRM for everyone, comes to Android
Why This Matters
Mesh's Android launch expands Automattic's ecosystem play, linking CRM and messaging via Beeper with AI-powered relationship management.
Automattic's relationship manager app Mesh is now available on Android. The app supports split-screen, widgets with Material You colors, keyboard shortcuts for foldables/tablets, and real-time sync. Around 70% of current users use Mesh for business purposes.
Mesh, the personal CRM acquired by WordPress.com parent company Automattic, has launched on Android. The app lets users privately visualize and manage their personal and professional networks, add notes to contacts, and set reminders to reach out.
The Android version is customized for platform-specific features including split-screen and pop-up views, home screen widgets with Material You color support, keyboard shortcuts for foldable devices and tablets, in-app search, and real-time cross-device sync.
Mesh already interoperates with Automattic's all-in-one messaging app Beeper, allowing users to draft texts or navigate to profiles via deep links. The company plans to deepen AI integration across both products. Mesh's Nexus AI, currently in early access, allows users to query their network — for example, finding contacts at a specific company or by location.
Co-founder Zachary Hamed noted: "We have users who have ten-, twenty-, or fifty-thousand connections across multiple social media apps. It's an impossible task to be conscientious with each of those people by yourself."
Mesh is subscription-based and free for up to 1,000 contacts, with higher tiers for unlimited contacts. Personal data is not used for ad targeting. Approximately 70% of users use Mesh for business purposes, with a focus on executives managing large teams or tight professional networks.
