Why This Matters
Sub-$2,000 humanoid robots with open skill-sharing could significantly lower the barrier to home robotics adoption.
YC-backed Nori Robotics is offering the NORI A3, a bimanual humanoid robot priced at $1,688, shipping fall 2026. Assembled in San Francisco, the robot features 7+1 DOF arms, four cameras, LiDAR, and 6-8 hours battery life, targeting everyday home tasks.
