Dorsey announced the launch on X, describing Buzz as 'model-agnostic, decentralized, self-sovereign, and open source.' The platform is designed to place human workers and AI agents side by side in the same conversations, consolidating workflows that currently span tools like Slack and GitHub into a single interface. Because Buzz is fully open source, teams can customize and self-host their own instances, adding or building features to fit specific needs.
