xAI Launches Grok Bot: AI Agents That Work Inside Your Apps

Original: Grok Bot

Why This Matters

Grok Bot signals xAI's expansion from chat AI into autonomous, app-integrated enterprise agent workflows.

xAI has launched Grok Bot, an AI agent product that can sign into users' tools and apps, execute multi-step tasks autonomously, and operate 24/7. It is available via Cursor Ultra at $200/month or Cursor Premium Teams at $120/seat/month.

xAI has officially launched Grok Bot, a new AI agent platform designed to function as a digital teammate rather than a simple assistant. Unlike conventional AI chatbots, Grok Bot operates with its own dedicated computer environment, allowing it to log into third-party tools and websites—such as Zendesk—and complete tasks end-to-end without continuous human input.

Users can assign tasks to multiple Bots simultaneously, with each Bot running in parallel around the clock, including when a user's device is offline. Bots can collaborate with each other in shared threads, passing work between specialized agents such as a Sales Outbound Bot, Talent Scout, Paid Media manager, or Chief of Staff role.

A key feature is the 'Routines' capability: users demonstrate a workflow once, and the Bot saves it as a repeatable routine it can execute independently going forward. Bots also retain memory across sessions and learn from one another, building context over time.

Grok Bot is available for macOS (Apple Silicon) and iOS. Pricing starts at $200/month for Cursor Ultra (individual) and $120/seat/month for Cursor Premium Teams, which adds centralized billing, SSO, and shared analytics. Existing Cursor Ultra and SuperGrok Heavy subscribers receive Grok Bot access at no additional cost.
