Blackmagic Design has introduced a new Photo page in DaVinci Resolve, making Hollywood's advanced color grading tools available for still photography for the first time. The feature targets professional colorists expanding into fashion and wedding photography, as well as photographers seeking capabilities beyond traditional photo applications. The Photo page includes familiar photography tools like white balance, exposure, and primary color adjustments, alongside DaVinci's full color grading toolset. Key features include native RAW support for Canon, Fujifilm, Nikon, Sony, and iPhone ProRAW, image processing at source resolution up to 32K or over 400 megapixels, node-based workflow, professional scopes, and AI-powered tools. DaVinci Resolve remains available as a free version, with the Studio version priced at $295.
