Play ransomware group, which has targeted over 900 organizations since 2022, posted on its dark web leak site claiming to have stolen private data, client documents, budget, payroll, IDs, and tax information from MyPillow. The Minnesota-based company is run by Mike Lindell, who is among 10 Republicans seeking the party's gubernatorial nomination. Lindell denied the breach allegations, telling Straight Arrow News that claims of a hack are 'a political hit job' and 'We do not have any breaches in our data at all.' Lindell has faced recent defamation rulings, including a $2.3 million judgment over false election claims about Dominion Voting Systems.
