Crusoe's 3x valuation jump in 10 months signals surging institutional demand for dedicated AI infrastructure providers.
AI infrastructure company Crusoe has raised a $3 billion funding round at a $30 billion valuation, co-led by Atreides Management and Valor Equity Partners, with participation from Mubadala Capital. The round comes 10 months after Crusoe raised $1.38 billion at a $10 billion valuation.
Data center developer Crusoe has closed a $3 billion funding round at a $30 billion valuation, according to Bloomberg. The round was co-led by Atreides Management and Valor Equity Partners, with participation from Mubadala Capital, the asset management arm of Abu Dhabi's sovereign wealth fund Mubadala. Crusoe counts Meta, Microsoft, and OpenAI among its customers. The company recently secured a $13 billion, five-year cloud contract with quantitative trading firm Jane Street to supply GPUs and AI infrastructure. This latest raise follows a $1.38 billion round at a $10 billion valuation closed in October 2025 — representing a 3x valuation increase in under a year. Founded in 2018 as a crypto mining operation powered by flared natural gas, Crusoe has since pivoted to become a major AI infrastructure and cloud provider, known for developing hyperscale data center campuses for clients including Oracle and OpenAI. The company has also reportedly met with investment bankers including Goldman Sachs and Morgan Stanley to explore a potential near-term IPO, according to Axios.
