The system compiles both Shorts and long-form videos to generate responses. Currently available to Premium subscribers in the U.S. on desktop. YouTube also integrated Gemini Omni, Google's AI video model, into Shorts Remix and YouTube Create app for improved storytelling and video/audio adjustments. Additionally, YouTube expanded its likeness-detection tool to all creators 18+ to prevent deepfake misuse, allowing removal requests for AI-generated videos featuring unauthorized creator likenesses.
